Biography: Anthony (Tony) Lawrence, a distinguished figure in the realms of cyber and communications security, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VOR Technology and Light Rider. A service-disabled U.S. Army veteran, Tony embarked on his remarkable career at the age of 17 when he was recruited into the cryptographic intelligence field by the National Security Agency (NSA). His tenure in various high-profile roles provided him with invaluable experience in advanced mathematics, cryptography, signals analysis, and counterterrorism. Notably, Tony's contributions in cyber target geo-location played a pivotal role in producing intelligence reports that directly led to the capture or elimination of terrorists on a global scale.
Post his military service, Mr. Lawrence established VOR Technology, a company that has successfully executed over 50 cybersecurity-related contracts and employed thousands of professionals. Leveraging the unique skills of VOR's workforce, Tony invested significantly in research and development, particularly in Free Space Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) and the wireless distribution of Quantum Random Number Generators (QRNG).
