Feng Wen

Biography: Dr. Feng Wen is an Associate Professor at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), who has built and led the Optical Signal Processing Laboratory (OSPLAB) since 2019. Dr. Feng received the Ph.D. degree in optical engineering from UESTC in 2014. He was a Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (AiPT), Aston University from 2016 to 2018. He works on optical signal processing technologies, including the all-optical signal processing, the photonics neural networks in single-, few- or multi-mode fibers-based optical transmission networks, or the free-space networking systems. As a PI/Co-PI, he has led over 10 projects, such as NSFC, National Key R&D Program of China, Sichuan Science and Technology Program. He has published over 140 journal and conference papers and delivered invited talks at ICTON, ICOCN, PIERS, ICAIT, IEEE SUM. He serves as a guest editor of the journals MDPI Photonics, Sensors and Nanomaterials.
