Rohana Sapawi

Biography: Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Rohana Sapawi is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and currently serves as the Director of the UNIMAS APEL Centre. She earned her Doctor of Engineering degree in RFIC design from Kyushu University, Japan, and specializes in Integrated Circuit (IC) design, particularly in Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits (RFIC). Her research focuses on RF CMOS IC design, with an emphasis on power amplifiers and low-noise amplifiers for wireless applications.
Since joining UNIMAS in 2004, Dr. Rohana has built a distinguished career, contributing to various strategic areas, including the Faculty of Engineering, the Centre for Academic Development and Management, and the UNIMAS APEL Centre. As an esteemed academic and researcher, she has published numerous research articles in high-impact journals and presented her findings at international conferences. Her expertise and leadership continue to drive advancements in both academia and applied research, making significant contributions to the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
