Sanya Liu

Biography: Sanya Liu (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in communication and information system from Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, in 2021. From September 2019 to September 2020, she was Visiting Ph.D Student with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada.
From June 2022 to June 2024, she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with Beihang University, Beijing,
China and Motic China Group Co., Ltd., Xiamen, China. She is currently a Lecturer with the School
of Automation and Software Engineering, Shanxi University, Taiyuan, China. Her current research interests include low-altitude intelligent networking and intelligent unmanned systems (UAVs, autonomous vehicles, and robot swarms), network security and intelligent protection, source coding and joint source-channel coding (for efficient compression and reliable transmission), deep learning, and AI-based image processing.
