Rumin Zhang

Chiplet Design and Manufacturing of Zhejiang Province, China; Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo, China

Biography: Dr. Rumin Zhang received his Ph.D. graduate in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from Beihang University. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Engineering Research Center of Chiplet Design and Manufacturing of Zhejiang Province, a Professor-level Senior Engineer at Ningbo Institute of Digital Twin, Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo, China. He was a founding member of BTD Technology. He is also a Senior Member of IEEE/CCF. In 2018, he was also a visiting scholar at the Department of Electrical and Electonic Engineering, Hong Kong University. With over a decade of experience in the AI and integrated circuit field, he has undertaken and participated in more than 10 national and provincial-level projects. He has published over 30 papers in the fields of AI and integrated circuits and applied for more than 50 national invention patents. His current research focuses on the application of AI in Large Language Models (LLM), multimodal technology, and Electronic Design Automation (EDA). He has received the IEEE ICST/UIC Best Paper Award and won the EDA Technology Innovation Award at the 3rd and 4th Industrial Software Competitions, He has been recognized as a Top Talent in Ningbo in 2023.
