Alain Chancé

Biography: Alain Chancé is the President of MOLKET SAS and the Founder and CEO of Quantalain SASU and Alainquant LLC, business management consulting startups offering consulting and training services in the field of quantum computing. He delivered a talk titled "Quantum Permutation Pad with Qiskit Runtime" at the 12th Edition of the ICCCAS in Singapore, held from May 5–7, 2023. His conference paper was published in Recent Advances in Communication Networks and Embedded Systems, part of the Lecture Notes on Data Engineering and Communications Technologies series, Vol. 205, Springer, Cham, Femmam, S., Lorenz, P. (eds). ICCNT 2022. He participated in the IBM Quantum Developer Conference at their Yorktown Heights Research Lab in New York from November 13–15, 2024. In February 2024, he served as a keynote co-speaker at the World Artificial Intelligence Cannes Forum (WAICF), presenting "Combining the Power of AI with Quantum". Alain is an IEEE Senior Member, a society affiliate of the American Chemical Society (ACS), and a member of the American Physical Society (APS). He is a member of the Quantum Security and Defense Working Group (QSECDEF). He serves on the Advisory Board Committee (ABC) of the North America Technical Institute (NATI) in Virginia, USA, which now offers a professional certificate program in quantum computation. He is a co-author of the book Quantum Chemistry and Computing for the Curious: Illustrated with Python and Qiskit Code (Packt 2022). Alain has over 30 years of experience in major enterprise transformation projects. He holds a diploma as an Ingénieur civil des Mines from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne in France (1981).
