Randy Kuang

Biography: Randy is a quantum physicist with a doctorate, recognized for his groundbreaking work in calculating electron capture cross-sections, which earned him the honor of having the research named after him by NASA. His expertise spans both academia and the information technology sector, where he served as a senior researcher at Nortel. In 2009, Randy co-founded inBay Technologies, and in 2018, he co-founded Quantropi Inc., where he currently serves as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist. Randy holds over 40 U.S. patents, with recent innovations in Quantum Encryption using the Quantum Permutation Pad (QPP), Homomorphic Polynomial Public Key (HPPK) for Key Encapsulation Mechanism and digital signature schemes, and Quantum Encryption in Phase Space (QEPS) for secure optical communications. Additionally, Randy is an Editorial Board Member for both Scientific Reports and Academia Quantum journals.
