Shihai Sun

Biography: Sun Shihai is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat-sen University. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree from the National University of Defense Technology in 2012. Currently, he is a member of the Quantum Communication Professional Committee of the China Institute of Communications and a member of the Quantum Cryptography Professional Committee of the China Cryptography Society.
Professor Sun has been long engaged in theoretical and experimental research related to quantum information technologies such as quantum communication. He has published over 60 papers in renowned domestic and international journals, including Optica and Physical Review Letters (PRL). These papers have been cited more than 2,000 times, with an H - index of 25. He has presided over more than 10 quantum - information - related projects, such as those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the key projects of the Shenzhen Natural Science Foundation. He has also participated in the formulation of multiple domestic and international standards, including ISO standards.
