Hengtai Chang

Biography: Hengtai Chang received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University in 2021. From 2021 to 2024, he conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Southeast University, and the Purple Mountain Laboratories. In 2024, he joined the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University as an Associate Professor.
He has led multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Young Scientists Fund, a task under the National Key R&D Program for Young Scientists, and a task under the Jiangsu Provincial Key R&D Program. He has received several awards, including the Jiangsu Provincial Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellowship, and has published over 30 journal and conference papers.
He has served as a member of the program/technical committees and session chair for several internationally renowned conferences. He is also a reviewer for numerous prestigious IEEE journals and conferences, including IEEE JSAC, ComMag, TWC, TAP, and TVT, among others. He has participated in multiple IMT-2030 6G technical proposals.
His research interests include 6G channel measurement and modeling, near-field communications at extremely high frequency bands, and AI-driven wireless communications.
